Annual Essay Competition

Saturday, June 7th, 12:30 - 2 pm
Children are invited to write an essay.

Each child will be given a choice of 2-3 essay topics.

Difficulty will vary according to age category.

Essay topics will not be divulged prior to competition.

Essay topics are on mainly on Hinduism.
Cash prizes will be awarded to the winners on

Sunday, June 15th during Saraswati Puja.

3 categories:
first category: 4th, 5th and 6th graders
second category: 7th, 8th and 9th graders
third category: 10th, 11th and 12th graders

Annual Graduation Day / Saraswati Puja / Father's Day Celebration

To participate students must qualify as one of the following:

1.) Students who are graduating from high school and college

2.) Students who are promoted from middle school and elementary school

3.)Those who have done dance graduation (arangetram etc)
Space is limited -- Sign up in advance to attend the graduation puja. Graduates will speak about their school and education. Children will speak about their fathers. If you wish to speak come prepared with your speech.

Summer School June 23 -June 27

Our annual Summer School (formerly known as Summer Camp) will be held Monday, June 23rd through Friday, June 27th.
Children will attend a variety of enriching cultural classes 9 to noon.
Every morning a special guest speaker will give a special talk.
Everyone will be fed a mid-morning snack and lunch.
Space is limited so sign up now.
(sign-up sheets are on the Festivals Committee bulletin board in the Mandir)
Volunteers are always welcome
Be sure to come early on Day 1, Monday, June 23rd for registration.
All children MUST provide medical insurance cards
