SUSTAINING DONORS & DOLLAR A DAY PROGRAM

In order to meet the monthly expenses of the Mandir and to allow the Mandir to grow, we have added a new fundraising program to the existing Sustaining Donor’s program. The Dollar-A-Day program is not a replacement for the Sustaining Donors (formerly known as First Check of the Month Club). This Dollar-A-Day Program is designed to fit the budget of everyone who attends the Mandir. Members pledge one dollar per day. Donors are able to give according to their means: $31, $51, $101 per month; quarterly payments of $91 or more; or one annual payment of $365. As soon as you sign up for the Dollar-A-Day Program you will receive free: a Mandir Aarti compact disc, a shirt with the Mandir's logo, a certificate, all Mandir mailings (including the Aashirvad magazine and Mandir calendar) and one weekday puja with your family. (The date of this puja must be planned in advance with the priest).

As you are aware, the Shri Lakshmi Narayan Mandir has made tremendous progress over the last few years. We have a wonderful Mandir to serve the spiritual and cultural needs of our families and our children for many generations into the future.

In order to meet the monthly expenses of the Mandir and to allow the Mandir to grow, we have a Sustaining Donor’s program (which was formerly known as the First Check of the Month Club). Members write their first check every month to the Mandir. Our current donors give according to their means: $101, $51, $31, or $21 per month or make one payment for the entire year. At present there are 250 members signed onto this program. Among these 250 may be your friends and the people sitting next to you when you visit the temple. They help keep the doors of this temple open for you and me. There are no wealthy insiders supporting the temple.

While there are 2 different programs, all of our contributors are known as Sustaining Donors. May I count on you to also become a Sustaining Donor? Just think, if all the members of the temple gave according to their means, this would allow the Mandir to meet its monthly expenses and continue to grow for you and your family.
Next time you walk into the Mandir, you can take pride that you are doing your share. You will gain the satisfaction of helping the religion in which you take so much pride.
